50's Letterman Cardigan
Fantastic 1940's or early 50's letterman varsity sweater.
Perfectly styled cardigan sweater, with stripes as part of the pattern on the left sleeve, and one of the coolest patches I have ever seen.
Perfect chain stitched letter C, with Cross Country embroidered on top.
Original buttons, wonderful 4 inch cuffs.
There are a couple of small flaws, there is a hole along the seam of the left arm, and a tiny one above the cuff.
On the back, there is a tiny hole near the top in the middle, and another hole right hip.
There is another hole on the seam of the right arm.
The original manufactures label is still attached, made by "Walt" Wessman and "Hal" Cunningham.
The size label reads 38.
